Audition will take place on June 21st, 2018, 9.30 am. at Szczecin Philharmonic concert hall. Szczecin Philharmonic will provide an accompanist for auditions.

Violin Job – Violin (Core Position) – Canada

Performance, with Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra. Closing date: 30 Sept 2018Tafelmusik, Canada’s award-winning period instrument orchestra, was founded in 1979 and has long been renowned in North America and internationally for its distinct, exhilarating and soulful performances. Now entering an exciting new phase, with the arrival of new Music Director Elisa Citterio, Tafelmusik performs up to 80 concerts each year in Toronto including a major subscription season, chamber series, community outreach, audience development and education concerts. Alongside this the orchestra tours extensively in Canada and throughout the world, and has a discography of over 80 recordings that have garnered many national and international awards.

At the heart of Tafelmusik is a group of remarkably talented, enthusiastic and dynamic musicians, each of whom is a specialist in historical performance practice who all play an integral role in the development of the orchestra. An international audition for core Double Bass will be held on March 13 and 14, 2019 in Toronto.
