French Horn Job – Principal Horn – Australia

Performance, with Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra. Closing date: 16 Feb 2018The award-winning Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra based in Hobart is auditioning for a full-time Principal Horn position.

Please Note: This position is only open to Australian Citizens, Permanent Residents of Australia, or New Zealand Citizens.

Audition dates:
Monday 5 March 2018 in Hobart, applicants must be available for the full day.

Audition Requirements:
•Repertoire will be available from 8 January 2018.
•Orchestral Excerpts (Please Note Orchestral Excerpts will be released for live auditions on Monday 5 February 2018)
(Please note: For recorded applicants excerpts will be realised four weeks prior to the confirmed recording date. Please note these will not be available prior to 8 January 2018 due to Christmas/New Year holiday period.)

The Royal Greenwich Music Hub is looking for enthusiastic, specialist music tutors to work in schools and at our Saturday Music Centre, on a variety of exciting music programmes within the borough.

All instrument types (particularly looking for Trumpet, Guitar and Djembe), including singing are welcomed with the ability to offer more than one instrument an advantage.

Applicants should be music graduates. Previous teaching experience in a school an advantage.

Successful applicants sit on a panel of hourly paid sessional workers and are engaged as required.
